Debra Gelman A UX researcher, designer, and strategist in the field of interactive children’s media, Debra creates Web sites, apps, and virtual worlds for her clients, including PBS Kids Sprout, Scholastic, Crayola, Pepperidge Farm, Campbell’s Soup, and Georgia Public Television. She led research and design for Planet Orange—a Web site that teaches first through sixth graders financial literacy—which won a USA Today Education Best Bet award. Debra holds undergraduate degrees in Visual Media and Psychology from American University and a Masters in Information Design and Technology from Georgia Tech. She is author of the Rosenfeld Media book Designing for Kids: Digital Products for Playing and Learning.
